Comenzile brute primite de Airbus în 2023 au crescut cu 11%, pînă la 2.319 de aparate, iar după anulări şi modificări de comenzi, o practică obişnuită în industrie, comenzile nete primite de Airbus s-au situat la 2.094 de aparate, depăşind precedentul record de 1.503 comenzi nete stabilit în 2013.
Pentru a-şi asigura creşterea viitoare, companiile aeriene s-au grăbit să-şi rezerve cît mai devreme sloturile de livrări disponibile ale constructorilor de avioane, care au carnete de comenzi care se întind pînă în următorul deceniu.
În 2023, Airbus a reuşit să livreze clienţilor 735 de avioane, depăşindu-şi uşor obiectivul de 720 de avioane.
