În decembrie, o instanţă poloneză i-a condamnat pe Mariusz Kaminski, ministru de Interne în fostul guvern naţionalist, şi pe unul dintre colaboratorii săi apropiaţi, Maciej Wasik, la doi ani de închisoare pentru depăşirea atribuţiilor într-un dosar ce datează din 2007.
Luni-seara, o instanţă a emis un mandat de arestare pe numele celor doi. Aceştia îşi susţin nevinovăţia, invocînd o graţiere prezidenţială acordată de preşedintele Andrzej Duda în 2015 şi pusă sub semnul întrebării de Curtea Supremă.
După-amiază, marți, cei doi au dat declaraţii în curtea palatului prezidenţial. „Nu ne ascundem, sîntem aici cu preşedintele, ştim că forţele de poliţie sînt adunate lîngă preşedinţie pentru a ne aresta”, a declarat Kaminski. „Dacă vom ajunge în închisoare, vom fi prizonieri politici”, a adăugat el.
